Raising little Westies, and life as parent of a special needs son
Goodbye is never easy.
Today I say goodbye from work for a colleague, which is hard enough. This follows from last night saying goodbye to one of my aunties two pet pugs.
This juxtaposition is confronting and brings a stark reality to the temporary aspect of all our relationships. We are here for a time, we interact with people or creatures, we move on.
We can hope to bring something positive to the lives we touch.
I can be confident that my mate Alan has been a positive impact on my life so far. I know that my aunties dog had a deep impact on her life, her grandchildrens life, and the life of her other dog.
I hope the people I leave behind, can be as positive when I move on.
Onto a better job and new home!!
