It’s a growth thing

A local front garden here in the Bush Capital
If I have a hobby at the moment – apart from “tooling around on my computer” – it is gardening. Close to the coast, I’m happy to have my European plants such as roses in all their forms – creeping, climbing and carefully pruned (or otherwise!) bush. But if I were to relocate to Canberra, I’m happy to see that there is every indication that a more local theme is well accepted through much of the city.
The shot above is taken from the gutter, looking across a front garden that is within a standard house block. It could be in the middle of a hundred acres of woodland, except perhaps for the bridge to nowhere.
